Take part in Swiftsure without a yacht...

The Swiftsure Crew Bank allows sailors to post their information for skippers who are looking for extra crew. If you are interested in taking part in Swiftsure but don't have a boat, this is a good way to find a ride.

The following sailors are available as crew during Swiftsure 2024.

Have coastal navigation, IYT ICC, RYA Day Skipper, First Aid. I'm usually either on trim, main, pit or mast and comfortable in any of these.
Yu, Jen 25-44 Woman Raced in the 2024 BVI Spring Regatta, was the bowman on a Salona 45. Delivered the boat to/from St. Maarten/BVIs. Heading down this week to race in Antigua Sailing Week and do a delivery from Antigua to Trinidad. Starting Wednesday night races this summer on M242s as well! New at this but super keen to be on the water and learn from experienced sailors. Happy to do foredeck/pit/trim. Have my Sail Canada Basic Cruising cert and ROC-M. Maritime engineer.
Smith, Katie 25-44 Woman I am currently doing my third year of the Vancouver Island Race Series on an Olson 911. I have done long distance club races over two years on a variety of boats - Cal 9.2, Olson 911, and a C&C 115. I completed Swiftsure on a multihull in 2023, but otherwise all my experience is on keelboats. I have my MED A2, ROC-MC, Marine Basic First Aid (2024) and Sail Canada Offshore Personal Survival Course (2024).

I am most comfortable with mast, pit, and spinnaker/jib trim positions, but I am happy to do foredeck, main trim or navigation.

Thanks!
