Hey all!! I'm offshore ready and looking to join a competitive race team!
• 1,000+ hours sailing
• Southern Straits (sisters leg) and coastal racing experience (currently on Allons-Y for the Vancouver series)
• RYA Day Skipper
• Offshore Safety at Sea (current 2026)
• VHF Course
• First Aid & CPR C (current 2025)
I’m physically strong and endurance trained, comfortable as rail meat for long stretches, grinding, trimming support, main. and assisting on foredeck. I stay sharp on night watches and don’t fade when it gets wet and cold.
Professional background as a former saturation diver and underwater welder, very comfortable operating in insane high stress, high pressure, high risk environments for a living. Calm, methodical, team first and always safety prioritized. I take direction well and show up prepared, happy to hit the galley as well for the team.
Fully self-sufficient with full offshore foul weather kit, 170N PDF, tethers, and personal AIS MOB integrated in, all the good stuff..
Looking for a boat that wants to push hard, sail clean, and treat the race seriously. Happy to train beforehand and integrate into the program.
References available if you want.

Looking to add to my one Swiftsure experience.
I've been racing in the Pudget Sound for about 15yrs. I've raced on everything from a J22 to a SC70. Besides mid-distance and buoy racing, I've done several RTC's, a Southern Straights, and the inside half of the VanIsle 360.
I can do any position on a boat but I'm most at home on the bow where I've flown just about every headsail available. I can trim main and drive as well.
I worked on Obsession and Neptune's Car at Let's Go Sailing/ Sailing Seattle for 6yrs as a deckhand and 100-ton captain. |

I have more than 25,000 nm of sailing. I have also done 2 VanIsle 360's.
I hold the highest endorsements under ISPA and I am an Instructor Evaluator. Under ASA I hold an offshore instructor rating.
I have countless hours sailing at night in all conditions. I have handled all types of wind conditions.
With Roger Aubin I helped we won Swiftsure a few years ago on Annie a C&C 24. I was skippering for the majority of the race.
I have extensive training in racing tactics, navigation, currents, and weather. In the year we won Swiftsure I accomplished that by rock hopping and in the end I anchored the boat just off Race Rocks and came out at the last minute to pass the other boats. I allowed them to fail first and watched how their boats reacted to the conditions. I am very tactical.
I know the Swiftsure race course well and what to avoid i.e. the Pinnacle.
I am easy to get along with, I have all of my own gear, I do not tolerate yelling on a boat unless there is an emergency (Roger learned this about me quickly), and at the end of the day I am out there to make sure everyone has fun and if we win that is a bonus. I am capable of working any position including flying spin.
Thx

Hey everyone,
I’ve got some local experience sailing keelboats in Comox and Victoria. Mostly sailed lasers and 420s in the past few years.
On keels, I mostly man the job and genoa sails.
I’m handy with sewing machines and have fixed sails in the past.
Can text me at 250-508-6877.
Thanks,
Cyril |

I am interested in participating in the INSHORE not OFFSHORE race. I have raced for almost 30 years in both PHRF and one-design fleets at RVYC, DCYC CYC Seattle, Bellingham Yacht Club, and Sailing Club of Washington (DC). PHRF boasts have included Catalina 27, Olson 30, J/120, J/109, Islander 36, and others. One-design races have included Martin 242, J/80, J/24, J/105, and Flying Scot 19. Can do pretty much anything on board. |

My name is Ange, 21, about to graduate from undergrad in London, UK. I was part of the North Shore Sailing Team for a bit age 10-14 and continued to fleet race and team race dinghies in university. I have some experience on J 22, J 99, and J109, and am eager to continue building that experience when I'm back in Vancouver over the summer. Have participated in Easter Challenge in Cowes and club racing around the UK.
I'm eager to help out on trim, pit, and work up experience on the bow team! |

I've done 3 Swiftsures and in 2022 won the light ship classic on Corina Corina. 20 plus years sailing and 20 plus years power boating. Have my own sailboat but don't race it. It's just a casual cruiser. Well versed in navigation, planning and management in a race. |
